Refund & Cancellation

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: March 31, 2026. This policy outlines the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions and the absence of refund mechanisms in a non-custodial environment.

1. Finality of Transactions

DexPrime is a non-custodial wallet that interfaces directly with various blockchain networks. Due to the inherent design of distributed ledger technology (Blockchain), all transactions executed through the software are Final, Permanent, and Irreversible.

Once a transaction is signed by your private key and broadcasted to the network, DexPrime has no technical ability to "cancel," "reverse," or "refund" those funds.

2. Gas & Network Fees

Every transaction on a blockchain requires a network fee (commonly known as "Gas Fees"). These fees are paid to miners or validators of the respective network, not to DexPrime.

  • Non-Refundable: Network fees are consumed by the blockchain even if a transaction fails due to user error (e.g., insufficient gas, smart contract execution error).
  • DexPrime Responsibility: DexPrime does not receive, collect, or store these fees, and therefore cannot offer refunds for them under any circumstances.

3. Stolen or Lost Funds

As a self-custody wallet, you are the only one with access to your 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase.

  • If your device is compromised or your recovery phrase is stolen, DexPrime cannot "lock" your account or refund the stolen assets.
  • We strongly advise using hardware wallets or secure cold storage for large amounts of capital.

4. Swaps and Third-Party Protocols

When you use the "Swap" feature, you are interacting with third-party Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs) like Uniswap or PancakeSwap.

  • Price Slippage: Refunds will not be provided for losses incurred due to market volatility or price slippage during a swap.
  • Scam Tokens: If you manually import and buy a "honeypot" or scam token, DexPrime cannot recover your investment. Always do your own research (DYOR).

5. Service Fee Refunds

If DexPrime introduces any premium features or service-based fees in the future, those fees are generally non-refundable unless specified otherwise in a separate agreement or required by local consumer protection laws.

6. Error in Recipient Address

Sending crypto to the wrong address, an incompatible blockchain (e.g., sending BTC to an ETH address), or using the wrong "Tag/Memo" is a common user error. DexPrime cannot retrieve these funds. There are no refunds for assets sent to incorrect destinations.

By using the DexPrime protocol, you acknowledge and agree that all digital asset transfers are final. We recommend sending a small "test transaction" before moving large sums of money.
